Hi, I’m Lori, the new owner of the Pittsburgh Moms!
I grew up north of the city in Hermitage, PA. After graduating from Grove City College, I attended the Art Institute of Pgh for a graphic design degree, living downtown and working in the strip district. I married my college sweetheart (he’s a cool archaeologist) and we moved to Mt. Washington for a while and then eventually bought a house in Ben Avon. I had my oldest daughter at Magee. His master’s degree took us to Murray, KY and then his PhD landed us in Memphis, TN — along with 4 more kids! What we envisioned as a four year stint has turned into over a decade of southern living. I also co-own the parenting site, Memphis Moms, growing it from its early stages to now reaching over 4 million viewers annually. I’m thrilled to now own the Pgh Moms too — and I look forward to building this online (and in-person!) community in the place my heart still calls “home.”
